Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign!

A few weeks ago with all of the protesting in Madison, some of it managed to make its way to Stevens Point.  As we were driving home from church one Sunday, Maya saw all of these protestors and asked “Why are they holding all of those signs?”  Tracey responded “Because they want everyone to know how them feel about the issues that are important to them.”

When we got home, Maya had lunch and then went to her craft table.  She came back a few minutes later with her own sign that says “Love God!”  When asked what she was going to do with it, she said she was going to walk around our neighborhood and let everyone know how she felt.  And, that is just what she did.  Here she is walking around with her own sign about something that she is passionate about.  We love you Maya, thank you for making our day.

Christmas Concert 2010

This year Maddie and Maya each had a Christmas concert at Sentry Insurance. My video work isn’t the best, but both concerts were fun to watch and truly helped us bring in the Christmas Season.

While these are fun concerts to attend, the girls love the idea of getting dressed up and seeing all of their friends in ‘fancy outfits.’

Here is my montage video of a few of the songs and some pictures of the girls.

Christmas 2008

We had just a great holiday this year!!!  Gramma Jeanne came over and helped us as we opened gifts and the girls got everything that they wanted (and then some).  The top gifts:  Maddie–iPod (and all of the accessories).  Maya—Pink Guitar and Buttons the talking horse.  Here are some pictures to enjoy of the gift opening, playing with the gifts and a few pics from Maya’s Christmas concert!!
After we were done in Stevens Point, we then traveled down to Texas to spend some time with my family. Pictures of that are below!

Christmas in Texas!

We just got back from a nice visit to Texas where we had a chance to visit my parents, see my sister Linda and her husband Greg and thier daughter Emma, my brother Tim.  We also got to see my Gram, Aunt Viv, Uncle Don and cousin John.  We had a great time and even spent a few days over the boarder….
